Vadodara: City-based Parul University (PU) said on Tuesday that 82% of his staff and 70% of students had been vaccinated forward July 15 when colleges and universities will be reopened for offline classes.
In an effort to make Covid free campus, PU promotes vaccinations not only university staff members and students but even parents and relatives of students, officials said.
“We have regularly monitored and updated the registration and vaccination records of all stakeholders and gave them guidance,” said President Public Works Dr.
Devanshu Patel, who was the first person to take a shot on campus.
“A total of 19,452 students we have responded positively and comply with vaccination registration procedures.
Of the total 63,625 family members of our students whose notes are maintained, the drive has pushed 60,392 to register for vaccination.
