Pune: The Covid-19 state assignment unit has suggested against the reopening of the school for class in-people before Diwali, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said at Pune on Friday.
“There is a discussion with all stakeholders and the final decision on the reopening will be taken by the minister’s chairman immediately,” said Pawar.
About the College opened for the physical class, deputy chief minister said talks will allow students and staff who are fully vaccinated to start a limited number of offline classes after all Covid-19 protocols.
“The final decision about this will also be taken by the minister’s chairman,” he said.
Parents and teachers, especially in districts with low weekly front levels or on those who register almost all cases, want children to attend in-people in schools, added pawar.
Previously, the Minister of Education Varsha Gaikwad has announced that schools in rural and urban areas will be reopened on August 17 with offline classes starting in rural areas for students from STD V-VIII, while they in cities will be open to students From PMII from PMII following the Covid-19 protocol.
