LOS ANGELES: Detective catches a mother to investigate the death of three small children – including a newborn baby – in Los Angeles, the Sheriff Los Angeles County department said Tuesday.
The coronary office identified the children as Mia Camila Rodriguez, 4, and her brothers and sisters Mason Mateo Rodriguez, 3, and Milan Mata Rodriguez, who was 1 month old.
Their autopsy is delayed.
Their mother, Sandra Chico was 28 years old, was detained with a guarantee of $ 2 million and is scheduled to appear in the Los Angeles courtroom on Wednesday, the Sheriff Department statement said.
The statement said the arrest was based on detective introductory investigations and that there was no additional information available.
It was not immediately known if Chico had a lawyer to speak on his name.
This case has not been submitted to the District Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday morning.
Children were found in bedrooms at their home around 12:45 Monday after family members asked for help, according to LT Chuck Calderaro.
They did not breathe, and attempts to revive they were unsuccessful.
Neighbors put flowers in front of the house to remember children.
Arturo Cerezo, an uncle, arrived when Chico was detained.
“He will do anything for the children,” he told the KNBC.
“That is very difficult to understand.
What happened?” Victor Ohm’s neighbor to Fox 11 he previously saw children playing on the page every time he went to get food.
“This heartbreaking,” Ohm told TV Station.
“They are happy children.”
