MOU with IIM-INDORE & CIVIC BODIES to change Kanpur into industry, hub tourism

Kanpur: To develop Kanpur to international tourist destinations and industrial hubs, Memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be signed on Friday to hammer the framework for cooperation between the Institute of Indian Management (IIM), Indore, Kanpur Smart City Limited (KSCL)), Development Authority Kanpur (KDA) and Police Komisarier, Kanpur.
The development of Kanpur as a tourist and industrial center, replication of the Indore Swachh model has been proposed in the scope of the MoU established by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Human Resources Development and the Central Government.

He said, IIim-indore designed a platform for monitoring civil infrastructure online and prepared traffic management plans, in addition to developing plans to implement information, education and communication (IEC) according to the Bharat Mission Swaph program (SBM).
“Also, we define a new field of collaboration that can be useful for institutions,” Rai said.
He added, “Highly trained personnel prefer to move to places with better research standards, higher salaries and access to advanced technology.
The initiative will reduce brain tract and provide quality infrastructure to encourage people to return to its roots,” he said.
He said, modalities were planned to build industrial units, especially the skin industry in the city.

Industrialists, businessmen and local representatives.
Surveys will be made to get direct information about the problems faced by industrialists and local modalities To make the Kanpur area an industrial hub.
We will identify areas of problems in industrial growth and remove congestion, “he said.
Rai said, there is great potential to build the skin sector and where Kanpur is known globally.
“And such a step will bring socio-economic change in the lives of people.” The MoU will be effective since the date of signing by the institution for a period of three years and can be subject to an extension through the agreement of reciprocal institutions, he said.
Any institution can stop the MoU with a three-month notice.
MOU provisions can be changed at any time with reciprocal approval from the institution in writing.
The amendment, termination and expiration of the MoU will not affect activity requirements at the time of notice, termination and expenses unless approved by institutions.
Mou’s sanitary napkins include that there will be no action to reduce any institution’s autonomy, or any party will impose obstacles to implement the agreement that each institution will consult and accept the approval of other institutions to use the names of faculty / members and logos for Activities and spread of results in cases of cases.
Detailed modalities of individual collaboration forms, activities related to them and their respective financial aspects must be agreed upon based on cases per case and determined with the details needed in a separate agreement.
This MoU will not bind legally and financially to one of the institutions.
The four institutions will consult with each other and try to resolve disputes or misunderstandings.
All institutions will appoint people who will have the responsibility for the coordination and implementation of this agreement.
Intellectual property (IPR) that emerged as a result of joint research and collaborative activities based on the agreement will be carried out based on cases-to-cases and will be consistent with the official IPR policy that is officially holy of the four institutions.
