Albany: Van moves at the governor’s house in Albany on Friday and workers are seen carrying out boxes and artwork as Governor Andrew Cuomo prepares for the last day in the office.
Democrats are scheduled to have the last full day as governor Monday, giving way to Lieutenant Kathy Hochul at midnight.
Cuomo hasn’t said where he will live as soon as he leaves the executive house.
He had previously had a place to live in Mount Kiswo, north of New York City, with the television personality of Sandra Lee, but the former couple sold a house after they separated.
The Public Service spokesperson office Joe Brill told the Associated Press Governor would need to empty the country’s house when he left the office.
Besides Van U-Haul on the reason Mansion, photographers took photos of state workers loading items into SUVs with public service plates.
Cuomo spokesman and public service office did not immediately respond to the question Friday about whether the moving van was there for Cuomo’s items or not.
The legislative leader has not received a letter of resignation of Cuomo.
He announced he would resign a few days after the report assigned by the State Attorney General concluded that he was sexually harassed at least 11 women.
Even when Cuomo prepared to leave the office, his lawyer continued to attack the accuracy of the report which caused his resignation.
Lawyers Cuomo Rita Glavin claims in online briefing that the report contains negligence and errors.
For example, the report described Cuomo at a public event that pressed the two fingers of his right hand in the letter of the company’s name printed on the Limmiatis Virginia shirt.
Glavin showed a photo of Cuomo appearing to point to a shirt with his left hand.
Lawyer Limmatis, Mariann Wang, said the photos did not describe an inappropriate touch and characterize Cuomo’s actions as “desperate efforts from intimidation and alone.” This report explains the Cuomo who won the buttocks of other women on public events.
