Story: The famous couple con with Bunty and Babi decided to return in business to thwart the efforts of young couples and take them to court, when they cheat people with their names.
But will the original can outsmart the new scamster on the block? Review: It’s been more than 15 years since the last con and rakesh (Saif Ali Khan) and Vimmi Trivedi (Rani Mukerji), who used to be known as Bunty Aur Babli now lives the life of a small small town in PHsatganj Uttar Pradesh.
Rakesh is a train ticket collector and Vimmi is a middle class housewife.
Perform in hard and colorful clothes during the celebration and opportunity in their train colonies, is the only joy in their routine lives.
But all of that will change as Kunal (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Sonia (Sharvari Wagh) – Two young engineering tickets now deceive people, use a calling card that is too familiar from ‘B & B’ which represents Bunty Aur Babi.
For Inspector Jatayu Singh (Tripathi Pankaj), Now ‘Retired’ Bunty and Babli is the key to achieving a new cheater Nabbing mission.
This is a plot made specifically for the sequel in its original popularity and take the story ahead.
However, Debututan Director and Varun V.
Scenario writer Sharma struggled to unite everything.
Film narratives focus too hard at Forting-Pas reference from the original which should come organically.
There are several innovative contra and disguise that cannot be recognized, but overall execution is too teenager to be able to take anything or anyone seriously.
The first round was largely released in setting the stage for the final conflict and the story did not really move at a solid speed.
In the second half, the plot thickens but lack of logic and belief in the story and say it does not make us feel strong for one character.
Cast Stellar from several experienced artists and newcomers who promised disappointed careless writing.
Still, nice to watch Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji together, who went up with their actions, but it was fun.
Both actors show chemicals crackling despite playing middle-aged pairs that deal with regular domestic problems.
Saif was quite adorable as Rakesh Trivedi who was ridiculous and obediently while comic Rani was a saved grace even when he was burdened with hard stereotypical characters and very few lines or truly funny scenes.
In fact, for this comedy it is very low on organic humor only with a handful of jokes that really land.
Siddhant Chaturvedi played his role well and Sharvari Wagh was very confident in his first film.
They look good together.
However, their character does not have a convincing backstory or build-up to make the audience connected with them.
Tripathi PANKAJ actions to instill humor in rustic accents are good but we have seen it too often finding new things in it.
The soundtrack did not have unforgettable songs like the original but fortunately there were only a few of them in the film.
All in all, ‘Bunty Aur Babi 2’ has an interesting premise to revive these two iconic characters, but this sequel feels.
Like the con-job compared to the original.
