NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh government announced on Wednesday that it has decided to cancel class 12 examination due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country.
Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made the announcement regarding class 12 exam cancellation.
Earlier, The MP board was looking for the possibilities to hold the offline exam.
Also, the school education department had plans to hold exams in July.
However, putting an end to the anxiety of students and parents, the CM has announced the cancellation of board exams.
The Board will announce the assessment pattern in due course.

On Tuesday, Both CBSE and CISCE cancelled the class 12 examination.
Both the boards had already called off the board examinations for Class 10 students.
Along with Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat has also called off class 12 examination due to the Covid-19 situation across the country.
Talking to TOI, school education minister Inder Singh Parmar had already made it clear that the state government will take every possible decision in the favour of the students.
