Ranchi: The first MP of the Koderma Constituency, Annapurna Devi (51), was discussed to the victory board united after a major overhaul on Wednesday.
He is now a third member of parliament from the country to conduct a center assignment in Modi Team.
Khunti MP Arjun Munda is currently holding the Tribal Tribal Tribal Portfolio, while Rajya Sabha MP Mukthar Abbas Naqvi is responsible for minority affairs.
While the Devi portfolio has not been announced, the increase in his profile has been surprising for many political people in Jharkhand, including in the BJP state unit.
He was a former assistant near the head of RJD then Prasad but joined BJP in carrying out the Lok Sabha 2019 poll that left RJD, including the president of the State.
BJP then watched him from the coderma constituency against the Babulal Marandi Ex-Cm, the head of the JVM-P who was now dead.
He defeated Marandi with a margin of 4.55,600 votes.
Last year, he was used as a national BJP vice president.
The Devi’s entry into politics took place after the death of her husband, Ramesh Prasad Yadav, in 1998.
Yadav then a minister in the Government of Rabri Devi in Bihar who was not divided.
Since then, Devi continued to represent the coderma assembly chair four times.
In 2014, he lost to BJP Neera Yadav.
Devi also serves twice in state government – once in Bihar and then at Jharkhand.
In 2013, during the upa regime under the leadership of Hemant Soren, he was appointed as the Minister of Cabinet (Irrigation, Women and Child Welfare, Registration).
He also served as Minister of State for Mine and Geology in the Bihar Government before 2000.
The news about his induction has focused party workers in the form of his constituency.
Raj Kumar Yadav, one of the aides near Devi, said by telephone that the whole coderma were happy with the news.
“Modi-ji has appreciated dedicated party workers and a woman, who rose from the beginning because of her work on the ground.
All party workers were very happy and were in the mood of celebrations,” he said.
