New Delhi: BJP MP & Former Minister of Union Babul Supriyo has announced his decision to quit politics.
In posts on the official Facebook page, Supriyo wrote, “Goodbye.
I will not go to any political party.
TMC, Congress, CPI (M) Nobody calls me, I will not go anywhere …

“He was recently imposed as Minister of Environment for the Environment as part of the Modi Government cabinet reshuffle.
Supriyo has confirmed his resignation by post on social media, “I was asked to resign and I have.” However, immediately after reflection, he edited his position and said, “I have resigned from the council.” He then went to add, what the sarcastic comments appeared: “When I had beaten him before,” Requested to resign “maybe not the right way to put it.”
