Jhansi: In a unique incident, a groom from Madhya Pradesh came alone in a wedding procession to marry his blind bride in Lalitpur on Friday.
Marriage became a city talk because of the courage and commitment shown by the man.
The man fell in love with the woman at first sight when it came to see him.
The incident was reported from Madanpur, a small hamlet in the district of Lalitpur, where the bride, Vandana, who visually experienced a blind since he lived with his parents.
On the other hand, the groom, Mohan Raikwar, who came from Ratanpur Village in the Sagar District Madhya Pradesh was a Mason by the profession and worked at Indore.
Mohan who lost his father a few years ago faced a lot of resistance from his family members when he revealed his decision to marry Vandana so much so he had to leave his house.
It was a friend of his father who came to his help by providing protection to him and arranged his wedding ceremony.
On Friday, Mohan reached Vandana’s house alone, dressed as a groom and married Vandana in front of his family members.
After marriage, Mohan also announced that he would consult a doctor for the recovery of Vandana’s vision.
