Bhopal: Around 14,000 grade 10 and 12 students, who are not satisfied with the results of their board tests stated on the basis of past performance in the wake of Covid-19 Pandemi, appeared physically for the exam at Madhya Pradesh on Monday, said an official.
The state government has held a special annual examination from Monday for students of 10 and 12 of 2020-21 academic sessions, who are not happy with the value they have based on their printed sign in their previous class, MP Secondary Board (MPBSE) Public Relations Officer Educational SK Chourasia to PTI.
All Covid-19 protocols are being followed when doing the exam, he said.
The official said students who were not present for a long time from school or had failed also given the opportunity to appear for physical examinations, but their number was quite lacking.

“Especially, students who are not satisfied with the value of those who appear for the test,” he said.
Grade 10 and 12 students from schools affiliated with MPBSE which are appearing for the exam.
Because the second wave of pandemics, Covid-19 board checks for grade 10 and 12 are not held in the state.

Students from class 12 students are assessed based on the sign that they are secured in grade 10, while class 10 students are evaluated on the basis of their internal school test marks carried out in the last 3 years, the official said.
On Monday, some students when entering the exam centers revealed the confidence of scoring a good goal in the test.
A 12th grade student from Bhopal said he was happy that the results this year was based on his class 10 mark.
“It’s hard to judge students on previous performance.
After the last board test (grade 10), I started learning hard.
I know my class will increase for sure,” he said.
The student said he also knew this was a risky proposition, given the fact that if he did not score good now, he might suffer bad (in the academic field).
According to an official, if the student appears now to the exam does not score well, they will be declared failed.
If a student succeeds in the subject, he will be given the opportunity to clean (in the form of additional tests), he said.
The official said the results of nearly 18 students of Lakh Class 10 and 12 were stated earlier based on their past performance.
From them, around 9,000 students from class 10 and 5,000 class 12 which now appear for physical exams from Monday.
The exam for both classes will be completed later this month, he added.
