Bhopal: A Gwalior woman, who was allegedly forced to drink acid by her husband and her in-laws for Mahar, died at Delhi’s hospital on Thursday after struggling for more than 50 days.
“Get rid of anyone,” Shashi Jatav said in the message of the last video to the police hours before his death.
Gwalior SP Amit Amit Sanghi said, “The three were accused of – her husband and her in-laws – had been arrested.
Now the allegations of the murder under the IPC 302 will be added.
We will include this case in a cinucetic case list.” “There was a change in the deceased statement in the past but in his dying declaration, he accused her husband and her in-laws forcibly feeding acid,” SP said, adding that the sub-inspector initially investigated this case.
It has been suspended.
Shashi married Virendra Jatav from Dabra Tehsil in Gwalior on April 17, 2021.
On June 27, Virendra allegedly demanded Rs 3 lakh from him and told him to get money from his parents.
When he refused, he forced the acid to his throat with the help of his mother and sister, the complaint said.
Shashi was taken to the Gwalior Hospital, but Dabra’s police only registered a case of dowry abuse.
He shifted to Delhi when his condition deteriorated.
Here, he made a statement before the official and alleged that he had become a Fed force acid.
Chairman of the National Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal, Tweeted about her fate and urged the minister’s head to take the right action.
All three were accused of being arrested and the investigative officer was suspended.
