MPPA, Apeda Bid to Madavaranasi Fish Product Hub

Varanasi: Authority of the Development of Marine Products (MPPA), along with the Department of Fisheries and the Development Authority of Agricultural Products (Apeda) has started a series of roundtable discussions and field visits with farms producing organizations to promote the export of sea products from the Varanasi region.
The first roundtable conference to discuss the same thing was organized for fisheries farmers at the Circuit House on Saturday.

Exposure visits from the FPO and officials can also be planned immediately, they said, mentioning how fish farming in the country had grown at a steady speed after the launch of the ‘Blue Revolution’.
In the last 10 years the export value of export fish and fish products has reached Rs 50,000 crores from RS 10,000 Crores.
