Hyderabad: Some members of the local parliament and top leaders of various political parties said they were interested in the assembly poll fighting next year, with a few who have visited the frequent assembly constituency and renewing relations with local leaders.
While the President of the TPCC A Revanth Reddy announced that he would fight from the Kodangal Assembly constituency, the sources said the BJP State President and Bandi Sanjay parliamentary members could compete from the Karimnagar assembly segment.

“Many leaders especially from opposition parties such as the BJP and Congress show interest in the election of assembly, because if their party is in power, it is possible that they become ministers.

Analysts said if they lost the assembly election, parliamentarians sit can search for tickets in the Sabha lok election while sitting in MPS.
Interestingly some leaders announced their willingness to follow the assembly poll without consulting or nodding from their central leadership.
Nizamabad MP and the BJP Leader Arvind announced that he would do a contest from Armoor against Trs Mla A Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday.
“But I will obey the party’s leadership decision on the assembly selection of contest.
Second, I have not decided whether to contest in the assembly election.” Former President and MP Uttam Kumar Reddy told TII.
In the 2018 poll, several leaders such as Bandi Sanjay were contested from the Karimnagar assembly segment and lost.

Congress MPS Komatires Venkat Reddy, N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Union Minister G Kiswan Reddy was defeated by the TRS candidate in 2018 but returned strongly to win in the 2019 parliamentary poll.
