Islamabad: While Islamabad slammed for the kidnapping and attacks of the Afghan Messenger’s daughter, Minister of Home Affairs Pakistan Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed tried to avoid responsibility by mentioning the terrible incidence of “international conspiracy”.
Apart from the sharp response of the Afghan government to kidnapping, the Minister of Pakistan continued to claim that the Afghan Messenger’s daughter “was not kidnapped at all”.
Talking about the Geo News Naya Pakistan program on Sunday, Ahmed said the investigation carried out so far did not show that the woman was kidnapped.
“There is no kidnapping,” he said.
“I want to tell the whole nation, this is an international racket, international conspiracy,” he added.
This statement occurred amid pressure that grew above Imran Khan’s government to take action and bring the perpetrators in the incident into justice.
The controversial statement is expected to reduce more about the tense of Islamabad-kabul bonds.
Afghanistan on Sunday announced that it was given its ambassador to Islamabad and other senior diplomats of “security threats” after the kidnapping of the top messenger’s daughter.
Silsila Alikhil, Princess Afghan Messenger Najibullah Alikhil, was kidnapped in Pakistan for several hours on Friday and was very tortured by unknown individuals on the way home.
Silsila Alikhil is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The Afghan government, members of civil society and activists condemned the incident and called for Islamabad to bring the perpetrators of justice.
Afghan foreign offices call Islamabad to identify and demand the earliest “cruel actions”.
The Afghan Foreign Ministry on Sunday called the Pakistani envoy in Kabul, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, for this issue.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has promised to take action against the culprit.
PM Imran Khan has directed Rasheed to ensure that the culprit behind the incident involving the Duta Princess was arrested within 48 hours.
