Madurai: A 70-year-old Tamil Nadu woman was trampled on to death by her son on Wednesday after he refused to give him money to buy liquor.
The woman who was killed was identified as M periyamayee from Kodanginakanpatti in the Madurai district.
Periyamayee has two sons and two daughters.
One of his sons, M Ramesh, who worked as Oht’s operator, was not married because he suffered from epilepsy.
Ramesh, alcoholic, fight with his mother.
On Wednesday night, Ramesh demanded money from his mother to buy liquor.
But when Periyamayee refused to give him money and warn him, Ramesh tried him to death, according to the police.
Elumalai police registered the case and captured Ramesh.
