Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has confirmed that his government’s relationship with a strong country’s military was “extraordinary” and the opposition narratives regarding the cracks between the two were “dead and buried”, said a media report on Tuesday.
In a clear response to its enumerators, Khan told the meeting of the spokesman for the Pakistani Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) Party which came on Monday that “civil-military relations were never before today”, the Dawn newspaper reported.
Khan said that the relationship between his government and the military “extraordinary” and the opposition narratives regarding the cracks between them “died and buried”, said the newspaper.
He has shared the same view during the meeting with journalists last week, according to the newspaper.
When asked – in the context of rumors about the possible agreement between the Pakistan-Nawaz Muslim League (PML-N) and the military to send the government’s packaging – did he feel threatened from every quarter, Khan said he was Perso.
