MSRTC stops bus services to Karnataka

Pune: Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has stopped bus services to Karnataka after strict restrictions imposed by neighboring countries.
Similarly, with countries such as Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh still continue with travel limitations, private bus operators say less than 10% of their vehicles out of Maharashtra.
“We do not run the bus between countries for now,” Shekhar Channe, Deputy Chairperson of Managing Director of MSRTC, said.
An official with the operation between MSRTC-Pune MSaid countries has continued for cities such as Bijapur, Ganagapura and Bidar in Karnataka.
“We will start services to Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Gujarat from the end of this week.
If these countries make it easier for restrictions, we will immediately begin the bus operation,” the official said.
