Mumbai: The strike-hit Maharashtra State Road Transport Transport Corporation (MSRTC) on Friday said around 26,500 employees have rejected the task operation and the bus has returned a portion of 215 depots.
Managing Director of MSRTC Shekhar Channe said 2,382 buses were deployed to operate 7,138 services and around four lakh people use it.
Since October 28, most MSRTC 92,000 Ganjil staff strike a demand that efforts are combined with the state government, and stirring up on November 9 after bus operations are paralyzed in almost all depots.
So far, services more than 2,000 daily wages and 3,123 workers have been stopped due to strikes, which have caused the loss around 1,200 crore rs so far.
Chhanne said retired driver drivers and other drivers have been employed by contract to install above the crisis.
He said the number of staff who continued the task every day stood at 300-400 because of the attractiveness of the Minister of Transportation Anil Puriab, which has resulted in MSRTC which manages to continue the operation of 250 depots.
