Vadodara: After being suspended for a year, Ms.
University finally announced a scholarship to support students’ education from a financial background financially.
For the academic year throughout 2020-21, the university did not process the reverse scholarship scheme.
Is an annual process since 2012.
The Directorate of Welfare of Students (DSW) has now invited applications from students for the 2020-21 academic year even when the new academic year 2021-22 will begin soon.
MSU officials said that as part of the process, students’ personal interviews were carried out and also included physical verification in residents of beneficiaries.
Because this process cannot be done after the pandemic induced by Covid-19, MSU Deputy Chancellor Professor Parimal Vyas has now requested that the DSW scholarship process must begin because the situation improved.
Students who seek scholarship support can send applications on the MSU website from July 5 to July 15.
It is mandatory for students to have an account at the National Bank – details that must be mentioned in the application.
Family income that is no more than RS 3.5 lakh per year qualifies under the scholarship scheme.
“The students who have lost their family income members during the Covid-19 pandemic must apply with the required documents,” an official said.
