The decision was taken during a Saturday Syndicate meeting.
The university has received several demanding representations that it must accommodate more students because of the mass promotion of grade 12.
“at the Faculty of Trade, against the capacity of 8,000 students, our readiness is to accommodate 11,000 plus students.
Based on current cost-based registration, we have received 10,500 Plus application, which we will accommodate accommodation, “said Registrar Registrar from Km Chudasama.
While the increase in total seats in the first year of trading scholars was translated to around 25%, the same thing would not happen to art and science.
The Faculty of the Art did not witness the large invasion of applicants, the official said.
“For science, decisions will be taken to see the availability of infrastructure, the power of teaching and the final number of applications we receive.
We will accommodate the maximum number of students,” he said.
Even when universities stretch their intake capacity in general programs such as the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, there will be no change in the number of seats available in a professional and technical course in which receipts are carried out based on the entrance examination.
