Vadodara: Faculty of Fine Arts University University Celebrates Teacher’s Day in style.
When the faculty opened the door of the exhibition room which was closed due to Covid-19 pandemic, with illustrated tribute to the teachers who played a role in forming a faculty that had made Vadodara known as the main arts center.
Performances – Pathfinders – Inaugurated on Saturdays together by Padma Shri Awardee Professor Jyoti Bhatt and former Vijay Bagodi Dean.
“This event is a collection of 44 photographs of the portrait of our former faculty teacher since the beginning in 1950,” said Dr.
Jayaram Poduval, led the Dean of the Faculty.
The photos included that from the first Professor of the Dean of Markand Bhatt, which was entrusted with the responsibility of the creation and establishment of the faculty by the first representative of the MSU Chancellor (VC) Hansa Mehta.
If Baroda’s royalty has protected the idea of establishing a world-class housing university in Vadodara, it was Mehta, which as the founder of Vice-Chancellor ensured that the universities branches at the Faculty of Fine Arts with teacher support such as Bhatt.
Interestingly, most of the photos displayed at the exhibition were taken by Professor Jyoti Bhatt during a period of starting a few days and then as a teacher who served in the faculty.
These photos also include many Padma recipients who have been given faculties to countries such as the deceased Professor K Subramanian, which is very well known as ‘Mani Mr.’; Late Bhupen Khakhar; Gulam Professor Mohammed Sheikh; Sadashiv Gorashkar and G R Santosh and Professor Jyoti Bhatt.
“We feel this is the right time to organize exhibitions like many senior teachers who study under pioneer teachers completing their services and new generations must take inspiration from these pioneers that we call – poduval,” said Poduval, “said Poduval,” Poduval said).
