Vadodara: The Gujarat High Court (HC) on Friday wasted the request submitted by two members of the University Senate M.
The two members of the Senate from ‘Sankalan Samitan’ have transferred special civilian applications in the Challenging High Court 38 names mentioned in the voter list for selection of categories Donor from the MSU Senate.
MSU and state governments are referred to as respondents regardless of other names of donors, which are registered as voters.
The election for polls in the donor category is scheduled for January 13.
Senate members Vrajesh Patel and Sanjay Jaiswal have submitted special civil applications.
The court said that a similar petition was moved in the past and was dismissed by HC.
The applicant was previously asked to approach the state government.
Even when advisors for the applicants are currently pleading that the court directs the state government to consider their representatives, justice Bhargav Karia issued orders to remove the petition as withdrawn.
