MTR conducts a virtual contest for students

Udhagamandalam: Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (MTR) in Nilgiris conducted a drawing competition and writing online essays for school students as part of the International Tiger Day celebration on Thursday.
C H Padma, Deputy Director, the MTR-Core Zone said they had received more than 320 entries from students.
“The highest response is for a painting competition, which receives 290 entries.
More than 50 entries come from the Kargudi Housing School students.” In the Buffer zone area, the campaign was held for the population of Masinagudi to create awareness about the conservation of tigers and their habitat.
An appointment was also taken in this matter by the staff of the Ministry of Forestry and its inhabitants.
