MU MULLS Online Exams for Final-Semester Students, PG Students

Mangaluru: Mangalore Mulling University to hold an online exam for undergraduate and graduate students at the end of the semester.
The decision about the same thing will be taken at the end of the month, said P s Yadapithaya, representative of Chancellor.
According to the University, they need three justifications to conduct semester examinations through online mode.
The first justification is that the check calendar is affected by a pandemic.
Further delays will cause discomfort for students who want to take jobs or go for higher studies.
The second is that 90% of teaching has been carried out online for students and the third is that students have demanded an online exam.
Yadapaditha told TOI that online checks can be done using facial recognition technology on each campus, in less than 1.5 hours.
There is room to do more than two exams per day, for each candidate.
In addition, it will be a multiple choice question-based examination.
“The positive side of online checks is to save time, and the results can be announced in a few days for all courses,” he said.
In the promotion of the second and fourth semester students and the second semester postgraduate students according to the UGC guidelines, Yadadithithaya said it would be taken immediately after the results of the ongoing semester examination were announced.
“We have completed 80% of evaluations from sustainable examination letters, and the results tend to be announced at any time after September 15.
After a week, we will take promotion for semester courses even.
This applies to undergraduate and postgraduate students,” he said.
