Coimbatore: One of the Depot Bus State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) Tamil Nadu in Ukkadam in the city is filled with mud every time it rains, forcing the driver to enter their buses.
With a city that receives intermittent rain in the past few days, the bus driver said the condition of the UKKadam II bus depot had become worse.
“We have raised this problem with higher officials several times, but it didn’t work,” said one driver.
Anxious driver has fired a video depot filled with mud and circulating on social media.
It was on the depot where the driver parked the bus after sliding them and mentioning the problem faced by the bus in the notebook.
Mechanics will go through a notebook and do trouble to improve vehicle conditions.
A driver, who asked for anonymity, said it was very difficult to enter the bus without making their clothes dirty.
They said the depot was also bad at the beginning of the day.
Other drivers say, “Even if we park the bus on the front side for easy access, the mechanics will move it to the end.
We have raised this problem with the Depot Manager, but the solution has not been found.” A official, meanwhile, said a road job occurred in Next to the depot.
“Because it is a slope, rain water flows into the depot, carrying mud.
Now the rain has stopped, everything will improve in one or two days,” he said.
