Nashik: Postgraduate and postgraduate examination of the University of Maharashtra Premier Health Sciences in Nashik was postponed because of the increase in Covid-19 cases, especially caused by the new Omicron variant, an official said on Saturday.
He said the postgraduate exam, which will begin on January 17, now it will begin on February 14, while the graduate examination, scheduled to start from January 31 will now do it starting from February 28.
The decision was taken at a meeting held on Friday, which was attended by the Minister of Medical Education Amit Deshmukh, Muhs Representative of Chancellor General Lieutenant General Dr.
Madhuri Kanitkar (retirees) and the Department of Medical Education Commissioner Virendra Singh, among others, the official added.
