Nashik: More than 86,000 Students of Health Sciences from various universities affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) will appear for offline and undergraduate exams (winter 2021) from February 14.
This test should start from mid-January this year, but Muhs has delayed plans after the third wave of pandemic.
Varsity examiner controller, Dr.
Ajit Pathak, told TII that the PG and UG exams will be carried out in two phases starting February 14.
PG (year 1 and 3) exams for more than 2,300 students from all health science courses such as tooth, homeopathy, unani, ayurveda, nursing, prosthetics, pathology etc.
(Except for medical degrees of PG, Diploma and Super-Special) will begin on February 14 and continue until February 24, followed by practical exams.
In the second phase, the UG exam of all health science courses and from all years, involving more than 83,900 students, will begin on February 28 to March 21.
Then the practical exam will be done.
“Under the guidance of our representative of Chancellor, Dr.
Madhuri Kanitkar (RETD) and Registrar Dr.
Kalidas Chavan, the inspection department has made all preparations for the smooth running of the test behavior,” added Dr.
Pathak.
The Varsity inspection department has sent material for the PG exam to 40 exam centers throughout the state.
And the ingredients for the UG exam will be sent immediately to 184 exam centers.
“Muhs has directed the test authority to strictly comply with the right behavior for the exam.
We have prepared a CCTV camera at all exam centers to prevent unfair practices,” Dr.
Pathak added.
Despite the pandemic, the Muhs inspection department was successfully carried out and stated the results on time for various PG and UG health sciences examinations involving more than 1.98 lakh students.
