Patna: Pancayat polls in the state, scheduled to start from September 24, have some interesting contestants and their promises of promises.
One Ahmed Tufail has promised something for every age group and the voter section.
Trying his luck for the position of Mukhiya Pancayat Maqsuda in the district of Muzaffarpur, Ahmed in his election pamphlet promises a motorcycle to every young man and a sewing machine and a beauty salon facility for every electoral woman in Pancayat, if elected.
