New Delhi: Video that is widely distributed on social media shows Minister of Taliban Education, Sheikh Molvi Noorullah Munir tightens the importance of higher education.
“There is no PhD, a valuable master’s degree today.
You see that the Ruling Mullah and Taliban, do not have a PhD, MA or even high school, but are the biggest of all,” Sheikh Molvi Nooreullah Munir sounded to say in the video.
The comment, as expected, made great criticism.
Private universities and higher education institutions in Afghanistan who follow new gender formats have been reopened.
Male and female students will be taught in separate classrooms and only female lecturers who will be allowed to teach the class of girls, tolo news reports.
A joint class is unacceptable at the university.
A Taliban official said, “Some universities can use separate buildings for girls, to teach girls separately.
But a number of universities do not have buildings, they can change class time.” Meanwhile, officials from universities and private institutions said they were willing to apply the new format needed by the ministry.
Officials are worried about the presence of girls at the university.
