Thiruvananthapuram: New Order of the Government of Kerala on Monday late denied permission to fall 15 trees near Mullaseriyar Dam as searched by Tamil Nadu, because of the previous approval of the Union and Ministry of Forest environment (MOEF), pulled fragments from opposition in the assembly.
Senior opposition leaders demanded to find out why this procedural requirement did not occur in senior officials before the November 1 decision and alleged that this large hose indicated a political serpongan.
Looking for the delay movement, the former Minister of Forest Resources and Water Thiruvanchor Radhakrishnan want the government to immediately cancel the original order rather than holding it in delay and institutionalizing judicial investigations to improve responsibility.
He said the government could not issue orders to fall trees from protected wildlife asylum without permission from the national wildlife council.
He said it was also difficult to believe that Wildlife Warden’s head had issued such orders without the knowledge of the minister and the minister’s forest and wildlife, who were the chairman and deputy chairman of the state.
Forest Minister A K Seasedran said the government would never return to the stated stand and the morgue of the Mullasiyar.
He said the government decided to take action on this problem as soon as it turned his attention, even though Sunday became a holiday, and detailed investigation would follow.
The minister said the order did not have legal sanctity because permissions needed from the national wildlife council and pollbang to fall trees from tiger reserves.
However, the action will be taken against those who are responsible, and all gaps must be plugged into before that because those involved are IAS and IFS officials, he said.
