Mum: Less than 2K COV for 2nd day in a row

Mumbai: The state added 86 steep deaths, the highest in 110 days since October 6 (90), on Tuesday.
So far in the third covid wave, the state has reported a maximum of 53 deaths on January 18.
The day after falling in a case, the state also recorded a daily detection increase to 33,914 cases on Tuesday.
“This increase was mainly due to the delay in reporting deaths from several districts, especially during the weekend,” said a senior official.
Of the total deaths, 39 came from the Mumbai region, and 28 came from the Pune region.
Mumbai, for the second day in a row, reported less than 2,000 cases.
Calculate Tuesday from 1,815 off 34,427 tests, which are lower than usual.
The positive level of the test remains in the range of 5% – almost half of the level of participation last week.
Mumbai daily victims remain stable at 11.
“These waves move to Tier-II cities and some of these patients can come to Mumbai for treatment.
This means the city must remain vigilant.
People must maintain their mask, maintain social distance and Avoid crowded places, “said Dr.
Rahul Pandit, member of the state government assignment unit in Covid-19.
Pandit warns cold waves in the city can cause the resurrection of virus fever.
At present, the number of patients in the hospital has dropped dramatically.
According to BMC updates, there are 3,474 inpatients who only occupy 9.1% of the total covid hospital beds in the city.
“At the Sion Hospital, we have 12 patients and most of them are people who come with some other health problems and are diagnosed with Covid-19,” Sion Dean Hospital said Dr.
Mohan Joshi.
According to the BMC protocol, most of Covid patients were directed at the Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri or one of the Jumbo field hospitals.
Active cases in states and cities continue to increase.
The total active case in the country crossed the 3-lakh sign, which was 22,185 from Mumbai.
Districts like Pune, Thane and Nagpur have more active cases than Mumbai.
The Pune District has more than 93,000 active cases, followed by 31,000-plus active cases in the Thane District.
“Maharashtra has the capacity of doing 2 lats tests every day and the state uses full capacity at this time.
There is a gradual increase in oxygen demand, but the situation is not worrying.
During cities that have a high vaccine coverage affected, maybe there is no leap in hospitalization.
The problem will begin only when cases reach rural areas, where vaccination is low, “said an official.
