Mumbai: City crime branch on Friday arrested a police informant and two of his friends to plant narcotics and weapons at the marketing executive and his friend after the executive boyfriend rejected the marriage proposal from one of them.
Crime Branch Unit 5 on Friday caught the informant Nayeem Hashim Qureshi, along with Ashfak Ahmed and Nikolas aka Nikky Nadar, and looking for two other people in this case.
The crime branch took over the case of the Sahu Nagar police.
The police posted them under the IPC to offer bribes to public waiters, reductions, destruction of evidence, criminal conspiracy, and under ARM acting, and the NDPS law.
This case was related to the attack by police Sahu Nagar earlier this month at Ali Fakruddin Sayyed’s house, a marketing executive who worked in a multinational company, and his friend Gopal Moopanar, and allegedly recovered 485 grams of Mephedrone or MD worth RS60 lakh and weapons made by the country.
The police arrested them both under the action of NDPS and ARM.
However, family members and friends Sayyed and Mooona complained that the duo had been framed.
“The turning point was when Sayyed’s boyfriend gave us clear instructions from the possibility of Nicholas’s involvement, who was interested in him.
After going through this case, there seems to be something wrong.
Then we took Nayeem who claimed to plant medicines and weapons in Sayyed and houses Mooonar.
The police are in the process of using Sayyed and Moononar, ” said DCP (Zone 5) Ashok Pranay.
The police said that while planting contraband goods, Niayeem and Nicholas were also careful that CCTV cameras were installed outside Sayyed’s house was cut off.
The police are now probing How much money was paid by Nicholas to Nayeem to plant medicines.
Ashfak admitted that Nicholas and Nayeem instructions he went to Uttar Pradesh to get illegal weapons.
The police will now determine where they bought drugs.
