Mum: school urges the country to make offline classes compulsory

Mumbai: Because the presence in educational institutions continues to voluntarily, schools worry about poor responses from physical class students when they reopen post-diwali holidays on Monday.
Some schools opened back last week (schools have the choice to reopen from 11 to 22) reported fewer students than when they started physical classes in 4.
October to now, only class 8-12 students are allowed offline schools in the city, As long as there is a parent permission.
The rest must learn online.
In the countryside of Maharashtra, physical schools are permitted from class 5 to 12, with parents’ consent.
The Principal has urged the state to review the Covid-19 protocol and make a must study directly.
The school has sounded parents to find out if they have changed their minds and want to send children to school.
The majority of schools say that if given a choice, parents still want to continue with online class.
“Students who have parent’s permission to attend physical schools are also reluctant in post-Diwali classrooms.
Our physical presence was dropped compared to when we first opened back in October,” said the principal about the Chembur school who started the classes from November 11.
While educators urge the country to reopen all classes, they also want a mandatory presence.
Class X students are more regular in attending schools, compared to the eighth and ninth standards.
“The state must be present in a higher class mandatory.
The parent’s approval clause can remain for students from the lower class,” said a school principal from Santacruz School.
A group of parents from the city has written an open letter to the Main Minister Uddhav Thackeray to reopen physical schools for all classes.
They have shown that children go to malls and parties.
The State and Health School Department has provided a nod to reopen all schools after consulting with the State Pediatric Task Force.
