Mumbai: A 19-year-old boy from Kurla in Mumbai allegedly died of suicide after a video chat with his girlfriend where he last rejected his marriage proposal, said the police on Sunday.
The man recently hung himself at his residence at Bhartiya Nagar with his belt and his body was found by the neighbors who were warned by his mother, said the official police officer VB Nagar.
“Because he did not take his phone, his mother asked the neighbors to check.
Our probe found that the deceased had, before the incident, began the video chat with the girl, from his own campus, to show him that he was ready for it.
