Mumbai: A worker was killed and six others suffered sustainable injuries in the explosion, followed by fire at the fabric manufacturing plant in Bozar from Palghar district on Saturday morning.
Workers told Police Board MIDC that one of their colleagues was lost.
The fire occurred in Jakharia Fabric Limited, located in MIDC Tarapur, around 6pm.
Preliminary report shows that the explosion in the boiler was reported.
It caused fire in a cotton fabric manufacturing unit.
An Mithilesh Rajvanshi body worker was found in the unit.
He died of severe burns.
Patil Ganesh Workers, Arvind Yadav, Murli Gautam, Amit Yadav, Mukesh Yadav and Umesh Rajvanshi continued to burn injury and were being treated at the nearest hospital.
Workers told the police that a Chotelal Saroj worker who was between eight people who worked when the fire occurred lost.

The blast sound was heard about three km from the factory, eyewitnesses told the police.
The fire was controlled, a fire department said.
Cooling operation is underway.
