Mumbai: 15 of the 17 deaths recently due to track-crossing

Mumbai: Seventeen deaths reported on the Mumbai train between October 2 and 4 fifteen of the 17 deaths was the result of the crossing line.
Nine of the deceased was unknown, the train police said.
Two examples in which victims were not found across the track involving senior citizens.
Madhusudan Pitra (80) was found lying unconscious on the Thane 5 platform on Monday.
Pitra, who lives in Virar, was taken by the authorities to the doctor, but did not survive.
Khushid Khan (67) died of a natural cause.
Khan was found unconscious close distance from the Borivli station platform 6-7.
Most of the victims on the central train were recorded under the jurisdiction of Kurla and Kalyan GRP Chowkies.
On the western lane, Borivli and Mumbai Central GRP Chowkies recorded a large portion of death.
