Mumbai: Mumbai police have arrested two people from the outskirts of Andheri here in connection with an attack on a spiritual leader and his followers in the Ahmednagar Maharashtra district, an official said on Thursday.
Police on Wednesday arrested Sarvar Sheikh (29) and Safe Sheikh (21) from Mogra Padang Locaity of Andheri, the official said.
According to the police, a group of people suspected of attacking the Kurumaharaj Rajabhau Kothari and his followers on a small argument in Ahmednagar on October 25.
After the incident, Kotwali police registered a violation of efforts to kill and stole several people, and arrested several people, and arrested several accusations, the official said, added that further investigation was underway.
