Mumbai: 30-year-old omelet market is destroyed

Mumbai: BMC on Monday destroys the freshwater fish market in Bapat Senapati Marg.
It was about 40 vendors shifting to Airoli in Navi Mumbai.
Some have been given stores to sell fish in the civil market in Marol.
Those who refused to turn to Marol said they would sell fish outside the market on the omelet.
The market was established about 30 years ago.
“We have issued a notification to all vendors.
There are 37 official fish sellers; 27 has been allocated stores in Airoli and 10 given space on the market in Marol.
The maturity process is followed and the market is destroyed.
There will be great help for traffic in Tennis.
Marg and more space for the flower market, “said Kiran Diphavkar, Assistant Commissioner City (G-North).
