Mumbai: Mumbai witnessed a surge in Covid-19 cases on Friday reported more than 300 cases.
BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that Mumbai City recorded 322 Covid-19 cases today, took the total calculation to 7.40,612.
A total of 223 people were dismissed from post-recovery hospitals today.
The total number of positive posts was restored and discarded until 7.19,381.
Also, six people gave up on infection on Friday.
Among the six deceased, three have co-morbidity.
The death toll reached 15,941.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 97 percent.
Double number is 2,052 days.
At present, there are no active detention zones in Mumbai.
The Civic body has sealed 24 buildings to contain the spread of the virus.
