Mumbai: an advocate, who lives in the NULL bazaar area in South Mumbai, has sent legal notices to BMC for waste which is thrown out outside his home and sometimes not picked up for days together.
Mohamed Nawaz Haindaday said that he would follow up on this problem with the written petition he did in the preparation process.
In the legal notification that he sent to the Commissioner of the City and the BMC C Ward engineer assistant on January 20, Haindaday had asked them to stop the practice of removing dirt and waste from the halls and throwing on the roadside especially if the dirt was mainly if the deletion was deleted could not immediately taken away.
He said that telephone complaints and also made on social media to the solid waste department in Chandanwadi have not received assistance.
Complaints are only recorded but except for one or two occasions, improvement actions have never been taken, and the victims are allowed to suffer.
In the notification, advocates also show that the way this function is seen in almost all roads in and around the null bazaar area.
He said on the contrary, it was observed that in areas outside the Null Bazar-Bazar area, BMC’s efforts to keep the area clean from the defilement seemed to be better.

Haindaday said his family had lived in the building since 1880 but this problem had begun in the past five years.
An official from BMC’s C Ward said, “We even tried to reach the door to the door to gather waste through BMC or contractual staff.
However, in some cases we have observed the locals themselves throwing garbage on the streets as far as the room under the suffocation.”
