Mumbai: BEST retires last MUTP bus

MUMBAI: Bus Fans Monday gave farewell to the Final of This bus Purchased under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) 15 Years Back from the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST).

A group of fans composed to the ideal government and voiced their desire to employ the bus for a personal trip on Saturday.
The lovers rush an emotional farewell by cutting out a cake using a picture of this bus crammed onto it.
The lovers decorated the bus and also felicitated the team.
These buses have been introduced in 2005-06.
Ever since that time, they’ve gained immense fame among the passengers and also BEST employees.
There have been also a total of 664 MUTP buses from the fleet of BEST.
They have been popular amongst commuters for its broad windscreen and relaxation in traveling.
The bus had Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic plus also a semi-aerodynamic shaped entrance.
Because of air suspension in the rear axle, passengers over the very last chairs could sit comfortably with no jerks.
It had a fantastic mileage compared to the other trucks in the fleet.
Having two measures on the door rather than the regular 3 measures made it much easier to senior citizens and physically challenged individuals to board or alight the bus,” sources said.
