Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has warned water scarcity on Tuesday to streamline water supply in several Mumbai regions.
The Civic body states that the water supply will be cut off or will be at low pressure from 10am to 10pm in several areas of Juhu, Vile Parle, Santacruz, Khar and Andheri.
“This one-day change is made to streamline the water supply in the area.
We humbly ask residents to work together,” BMC tweeted.
The Civic body mentions that valves will be replaced to make the water supply smoother.
However, to replace valves, the water supply needs to be cut or bear low pressure in several regions.
The Civic’s body also stated that they had detected some technical difficulties and hence the necessary actions needed to correct this problem.
BMC urges residents who are in this area to store water and use it saving.
