Mumbai: MTNL Mobile Operation in Mumbai Metro will finally be treated by BSNL, national telephone arm of the central government.
Officially, BSNL and Maintenance operations will begin here from September 1.

The takeover is on the card as part of the national level merger process that occurs in the case of Delhi starting in April 1.
BSNL’s big mandate in Mumbai will expand 4G networks with new equipment and aggressive marketing plans to attract customers.
MTNL still has 15 Lakh land connections in Mumbai Metro but only has five lakh phones.
