Mumbai: The police have registered a case against a 49-year-old businessman who is responsible for the driving rash after the upscale car entered the convoy of Maharashtra Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s convoy in Mumbai, a official said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 7pm on Monday in the Hill Malabar area in South Mumbai where CM went for a meeting with the Department of Houses and senior police officers, he said.
After the meeting, Thackeray left another event when the businessman violated the convoy cm because of an error, police official said.
The entrepreneur did not know about CM movements, but he drove his car in a negligative way, the official said.
Something was later registered with a man under the Indian criminal code, part 279 IPC (driving rash or driving in a public way), the official said, added that he was allowed to serve notice.
