Mumbai: The fuel rate in this country climbed once again on Thursday, pushing gasoline and diesel prices in Mumbai to new highs.
With an increase of 34 Paise, the price of one liter of gasoline jumped to Rs 107.54 in the metropolis, from RS 107.20 before.
The diesel level also rose by around 16 Paise.
One liter of diesel now requires Rs 97.45 costs in financial capital.
The increase at the fuel rate entered after a two-day gap.
The last surge was reported on Monday, July 12.
Mumbai has crossed a 100 / liter mark for gasoline on May 29.
Fuel prices have so far increased 40 times since May 1 and remain unchanged at 36 days.
Meanwhile, the Congress Party has launched a 10-day national agitation of the price of fuel skyrocketing starting on July 7.
Protests were held in several places throughout the city, as well as in neighboring areas such as Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan-Dombivli and Ulhasnagar and Ulhasnagar and Ulhasnagar.
Some leaders, including Deputy Minister of Deputy Maharashtra Ajit Pawar, has raised concerns over the increase in gasoline and diesel prices.
