Mumbai: The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) will be carried out by Rs 2.50 per kg, including tax, from Sunday morning while the gas level cooking pipe will increase by Rs 1.50 per unit.
In the past year – from February 2021 to January 2022 – the CNG level in the Metropolitan area of Mumbai has been carried out more than RS 18.
Public transportation such as autos, taxis and buses that run on CNG will be beaten badly.
While the trade union has demanded an increase in taxi rates of RS 5 and an increase in the automatic fee of RS 2 given the increase in fuel tariffs, one of the unions has demanded that the price rolled back so there was no load of tariff increases in consumers.
.
Leader of the Mumbai Union Autorickshawmen Shashank Rao said that the government must avoid rising tariffs and rolling back rates.
“Residents (commuters) will not tolerate an increase in other fees and it will not be appropriate to sue one.
So we wrote to the chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray and the Minister of Transportation Anil Puriab to intervene in this matter,” he said.
The revised price including all CNG taxes in the Mumbai metropolitan area from Sunday morning will be Rs 66 per kg while the pipeline gas rate will increase to Rs 39.50 per unit.
