Mumbai: A police officer police, who did not report to work since 2012 and reportedly attracted his salary, was dismissed after an investigation of the department.
The probe was arranged in Vijayanand Ingale’s problem, after he did not report to work for a long time to the Goregaon police station or local police arm unit, where he was then transferred.
The police did not tell anyone about why he was not present.
He did not reply to notice looking for an explanation due to his absence.
During the probe, the Ingale explanation was sought but the reply was unsatisfactory.
In June, two policemen had stopped reporting to work from their transfer period from the local army department to the Malabar Hill police station in 2012 was dismissed.
