Mumbai: Assistant Inspector Police Office Dahanu was ordered for allegedly escaping in his car after knocking down a married couple with a scooter on Friday night.
Police Vangaon ordered Suhas Kartate, whose car was found abandoned near the police station.
The police suspected Karmathate drove about 18 km from the accident point, close to Chinchani cutting three wheels due to the front left of the vehicle and bursts tube around 9:30 a.m.
