The defendant was ordered under various parts of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) including an attempt to murder (307), conspiracy (120) and part of the Indian train law.
Investigation in this case was submitted to the Special Operations Group (SOG), Valsad.
“It was an attempt to thwart the train and we tried to identify those involved.
We use human and electronic intelligence to capture the perpetrators,” said Rajkumar Pandian, additional DGP, letter coverage.
According to the police, it can cause the death of passengers traveling by train, the defendant was ordered for an attempt to murder.
“There is no residential area near the place where the incident happened.
The nearest house is about 500 meters,” said a police officer.
Also there was no CCTV camera near the scene that happened.
However, the police tried to examine the closest location footage to identify the suspects.
According to FIR, between 18: 007 and 7:10 a night on Friday, the express train hit the cement pillar which was stored on the track.
The cement pole broke into several parts found near the track.
“Loco pilot train realizes that the machine has something and stop the train to check.
After inspection, he noticed there was no damage to the train and moved after notifying officials at the Atul and Valsad train station,” said a police officer in Valsad.
The investigation revealed that the cement pole was part of the fence established a few years ago to prevent livestock from getting into the track.
The fence was broken and the pole was removed from near the scene it happened.
